"Inter" Football Club has been fined 50,000 euros for the incident that occurred in the 23rd round of the Serie A match against "Cremonese".
İdman.Biz reports that the game ended with a 2-0 victory for the Milan team.
According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Milan fans threw flares at "Cremonese" goalkeeper Emil Audero during the match. As a result, the 29-year-old Italian footballer suffered a leg injury and hearing problems in his right ear.
The Sports Court fined "Inter" not only for using pyrotechnics such as smoke bombs and flares, but also for hitting an opposing player with such items, which caused Audero to be shocked and the game to be stopped. When making the decision, the judge took into account "Inter"'s immediate assistance in identifying those responsible for the incident, as well as the measures taken to protect the players from events on the field both during and after the game.
It was previously reported that after the flare throwing incident, "Inter" fans will be banned from attending their team's next three Serie A away games.
