"Inter" fans will be banned from attending their team's next three Serie A away games following an incident on February 1 involving a firecracker thrown at "Cremonese" goalkeeper Emil Audero during the game between the teams.
İdman.Biz reports that the 29-year-old goalkeeper suffered a leg injury and hearing loss in his right ear as a result of the incident.
"Following serious disturbances, the Minister of the Interior has ordered a ban on "Inter" fans traveling to away games until March 23, 2026, as well as a ban on the sale of tickets for these matches to residents of Lombardy. This measure aims to ensure public order and safety, and to prevent the recurrence of events that could disrupt the smooth running of sporting events," reads the official statement from the Italian Ministry of the Interior, published in "La Gazzetta dello Sport".
The ban will not apply to the "Milan" - "Inter" derby on March 8. Therefore, "nerazzurri" fans will not be able to attend away games against "Sassuolo", "Lecce" and "Fiorentina".
