"Imishli" releases Cashquilha and searches for a Spanish coach

"Imishli", which managed to maintain its place in the Misli Premier League, is drawing up plans for the new season. The regional representative intends to clarify the head coach issue first.

Idman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that the management will not continue with Jorge Cashquilha, who was appointed to the team at the beginning of the current season and managed to keep the debutant in the elite. The Portuguese, who applies his own unique style of play and manages to get points from everyone, was not satisfied with the demands of the management.

Cashquilha first asked for a small increase in his salary. He requested that the new contract be signed with an additional approximately $50,000 (85,000 AZN) per year.

The management did not consider the coach worthy of this and started looking for a replacement for him.

The people of Imishli, who consider it unnecessary to allocate money to children's football and infrastructure, have eagerly found funds for a new foreign coach instead. The attitude of the club management, which lives a displaced life, spent the current season in Guba, and is considering another region for the next season, was reflected in the fact that they did not buy clothing sets for them. Instead, the team, which embraces legionnaires, has now contacted a Spanish coach whose name we cannot specify. As soon as the season ends, Cashquilha will be dismissed and that coach will take office.
