"Sabah" defender Igor Nogueira commented on the 2:1 victory over "Zira" in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup. Sport24.az reports that the experienced football player, speaking to the "Lance" publication, also assessed the season as a whole:
"I can't find words to describe everything I've experienced in these two seasons at Sabah. I came to Azerbaijan believing in the club's project and today we are seeing the fruits of everything. Every football player's dream is to win a title and have the opportunity to write their name in the club's history. I also achieved this. I have won three titles in two i" years at "Sabah". Therefore, I am undoubtedly proud. We were stable in the Premier League from beginning to end. We certainly won the title and also performed excellently in the cup, winning the final. We performed well emotionally and faithfully until the end. Now all that remains is to enjoy everything."
