Amid uncertainty surrounding head coach Habib Beye at French football club Marseille, the search for a new specialist has begun.
Idman.Biz reports that according to "L"Equipe", the club management is not satisfied with the work of the 48-year-old Senegalese specialist. Beye failed to achieve the two main goals set for him: to take the team to the Champions League and reach the final of the French Cup.
Habib Beye has been working at Marseille since February 2026. His contract is valid until June 30, 2027. The specialist previously worked at Red Star and Rennes.
According to reports, the list of candidates for the position of head coach of Marseille includes Lille coach Bruno Genesio, Adi Hütter, who left Monaco in the fall of 2025, and Neom head coach Christophe Galtier.
Marseille is in sixth place in the French championship with 56 points after 33 games.
