Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has expressed his desire to return to coach the London club.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Sky Sports, this statement came after Tottenham sacked head coach Thomas Frank on February 11.
"I would love to return to Tottenham. Definitely. But I am a realist and I don't live in a world of illusions. My chances of getting hired are very slim. They know my number. If anyone wants to call me, they know where I am. Can I manage the job? Of course," said Redknapp.
He also noted that the club needs a coach who will return the team to the basic principles of the game - discipline, dedication, and active pressing after losing the ball.
Redknapp managed Tottenham from 2008 to 2012. In the 2009/2010 season, he was named the best manager of the English Premier League and received the Manager of the Month award seven times.
