Barcelona's head coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, has shared his thoughts on the factors that make the club unique.
Idman.Biz reports that on Sunday, May 17, the Catalans defeated Betis 3-1 in the 37th round of La Liga at home, winning the title ahead of schedule. Barcelona became the first team in league history to win all 19 home games in a single season.
"In my opinion, there is belief in what you do. No one forces you to do anything - they believe in you. The bond between the players is fantastic.
"Barcelona is the best club in the world and the people in Barcelona are incredible. Every day when I walk down the streets, I see how kind people are. It comes from the heart - you can feel it. It's incredible. That's why people love Barcelona so much. The club is a place where everyone works with all their heart. It was a bit difficult for us, but we wanted to win and it's incredible to see how we defended against a fantastic team like Betis," AS quoted Flick as saying.
Today, May 18, Barcelona extended the contract with head coach Hans-Dieter Flick. The blaugrana press service announced this on the team's official website. The German coach's new contract is valid until the summer of 2028, with an option for an additional season. Flick has been in charge of the team since the summer of 2024.
