Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has equaled a unique record held by English football legend Alan Shearer. Sport24.az reports that the Norwegian forward is only the second player to score 15 or more goals in a season before the winter time change in Britain.
This season, Haaland has already scored 15 goals in 11 games. Of these, 11 came in 8 Premier League matches, and 4 in 3 Champions League matches.
It should be noted that in the 2022/23 season, he scored 22 goals before the clocks went back. Alan Shearer achieved this feat in the 1992/93 and 1995/96 seasons, reaching the 15-goal mark by the end of October on both occasions.
