The head coach of "Qarabağ", Gurban Gurbanov, stated that even if he continues his career until the age of 60-70, he still needs to learn. Sport24.az reported that the experienced specialist said this at the I Forum of Coaches.
He said that speaking at this event is a responsibility:
"There are innovations in every field. Football is constantly evolving. If I remain in the coaching position until the age of 60-70, I must definitely learn. You must always develop. The head coach must pay attention to all the details."
Gurbanov said that before starting coaching, he was a fan of Faig Garayev and his team:
"Football is a completely different sport. Everyone is talking about it. The coach must be a leader. In the end, the head coach is responsible for everything. The final decision is made by the head coach. There is such a saying in football: if the team wins, it is the victory of the players, if it loses, it is the defeat of the head coach. We must preserve the confidence in the players."
