"Turan Tovuz" head coach Gurban Berdyev has offered condolences on the death of former Russian national team head coach Boris Ignatiev. Sport24.az reports that the text reads:
"The death of Boris Ignatiev is a great loss for Russian football, relatives and friends. The history of our friendship goes back a long time. He was one of the most sincere people in the world. A lot can be said about his human qualities. He was a perfect family man, father and friend. He has made a great contribution to the development of young football players. He brought dozens of professional football players to the country's football. We have lost a great specialist, a friend with a beautiful heart".
