"The death of Boris Ignatyev is a great loss for Russian football, his relatives, and loved ones. The history of our friendship goes back a long way. He was one of the most sincere people in the world. One could talk a lot about his human qualities. He was a perfect family man, father, and friend. He made a great contribution to the development of young football players. He brought dozens of professional football players to the country's football. We have lost a great specialist, a friend with a beautiful heart."
