"Sassuolo" coach Fabio Grosso and "Genoa" coach Daniele De Rossi are among the candidates for the position of head coach of "Fiorentina". Sport24.az reports that "La Gazetta dello Sport" reported this.
"Fiorentina" management is dissatisfied with the current season and is looking for another specialist to replace the current head coach Paolo Vanoli. Vanoli was appointed in place of Stefano Pioli, who was removed from his post in November. His contract with the club expires this summer.
The Italian club had previously planned to invite Enzo Maresca "behind the wheel". The club's sporting director, Fabio Paratici, even had a telephone conversation with Maresca. However, he hopes to succeed Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
It should be noted that Grosso has worked for Juventus, Bari, Verona, Brescia, Lyon and other clubs. De Rossi previously coached SPAL and Roma, and has been in charge of Genoa since November.
