The president of the Italian Football Federation, Gabriele Gravina, has expressed concern about the country's preparations for hosting the 2032 European Championship.

"Italy is lagging behind. In the last 15 years, we have only built or rebuilt 6 stadiums. In France, this number is 12, and in Turkey, it is 33.
"EURO 2032" is a unique chance to renew stadiums, but we risk missing it. We need modern arenas and government support. Private companies are ready to help, but the procedure itself needs to be simplified. Without a commissioner with special powers to speed up the process, we risk missing this great opportunity," said Gravina.
