Reaching 200 games in "Zira" is a great joy for the team's captain, Gismat Aliyev.
The 29-year-old football player stated this in an interview with "Report".
The flank defender shared his thoughts on playing his jubilee match in the "eagles" team:
"Playing 200 games for "Zira" is truly a great joy for me. I have tried to do my best in every match I have played. I cannot predict how much this number will increase. As long as I wear the uniform of this club, I will try to make our fans happy with great victories."
G.Aliyev also spoke about the return match of the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup, in which they defeated "Sumgayit" with a score of 2:0:
"The cup was very important for both teams. We faced "Sumgayit" twice in a short period of time. The opponents knew each other well. They also have good, skilled football players in their squad. We prepared for the match with great desire as a team. In the end, we achieved a very important victory and qualified for the semi-finals."
It should be noted that the game with "Sumgayit" was remarkable for Gismat Aliyev with a jubilee.
