Ukrainian national team midfielder Georgi Sudakov will not be able to participate in the match against the Azerbaijani national team in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.

He also thanked the fans for their support: "Unfortunately, this gathering is over for me. I hope I will recover soon. I wish my teammates victory in the next game."
The 23-year-old midfielder was injured in the shoulder in the match against Iceland and was substituted in the 39th minute.
It should be noted that the Ukraine-Azerbaijan match will be held on October 13 in Krakow. The game will start at 22:45 Baku time. Based on the results of three rounds, the Ukrainian national team occupies the second place in Group D of the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
