"In terms of speed, probably the slowest was Slavcho Georgievski, with whom I played together in Inter."
This was stated in an interview with futbolinfo.az by Georgian former football player Georgi Adamiya, who spent most of his career in Azerbaijan, playing for "Neftchi", "Baku", "Qarabagh" and "Inter" clubs in our country.
We present this interview.
Who was the most talented of the football players you played with?
– Afran Ismayilov. He had all the opportunities and potential to play in big football. Speed, dribbling, courage - in a word, Afran had everything necessary in modern football.
– The fastest football player you played with...
– Zaur Tagizade. It was enough just to pass the ball to the zone where he was. Zaur always outpaced his opponents with his speed.
– Who was the slowest, slowest running football player?
– In terms of speed, probably the slowest was Slavcho Georgievski, with whom I played together in Inter. Nevertheless, he thought very quickly on the field and made decisions instantly.
– Who was the most hardworking?
– Ansi Agolli. He went to the gym before every training session to prepare himself for training.
– The laziest of the football players you played with...
– If you remember, the Brazilian striker Jaba played in Baku. I would mention him as the laziest. He especially did not like working extra outside of training (laughs). Although he was talented, he was lazy.
– Who was the most serious and intimidating of your teammates?
– Rashad Sadygov was the most strict and serious on the field. He always took games very seriously and did not allow anyone to relax in the match.
– Who was the most joking of the football players you played with?
– Mahir Shukurov, Elnur Allahverdiyev and Maksim Medvedev. They were always joking. Moreover, they could be cheerful and joking all day long.
– The harshest and most quarrelsome of your former colleagues...
– Elnur Allahverdiyev and Valeri Abramidze. I would also mention Fuzuli Mammadov, whom I faced as an opponent.
– Who was the quietest football player you played with?
– Admir Teli, with whom I played together in Qarabagh. He was always calm and collected both on the field and in life.
– Who was the biggest spender, that is, the spendthrift, of the football players you played with?
– I will mention Jaba's name again. He spent money left and right, wherever he went (laughs).
– But who was the stingiest football player you played with...
– I won't be able to name anyone for this question. Because I have not felt that anyone refused to spend money or pay. It is possible that there have been such cases, but I have not seen them.
– Who was the most educated of the football players you played with?
– There was a striker in Neftchi - Tomislav Mishura. I don't remember a more educated football player. He didn't even watch television, he only read books.
– Who do you consider to be the most tastefully dressed of your friends?
– Subasic and Abramidze. They loved to keep up with fashion and always paid attention to their clothes (laughs).
– Who was the football player you played with who had the best voice and sang the best songs?
– Georgi Lomaya and Aleksandr Chertoganov. They both sang well (laughs). I would especially mention Lomaya. His repertoire included not only Georgian, but also English and Russian songs (laughs again).
– Well, the best dancer...
– I have rarely seen dancers among the football players I played with. It's true that Jaba liked to dance. But as an answer to this question, I will mention Ramazan Abbasov, he is good at dancing. I guess they will kill me after reading this interview (laughs).
