France squad announced for matches against Azerbaijan and Iceland

The squad of the French national team for the matches against the national teams of Azerbaijan and Iceland in the qualifying round of DÇ-2026 has been announced.   Head coach Didier Deschamps invited 23 players to the matches against Azerbaijan in Paris on October 10 and against Iceland in Reykjavik on October 13 within Group D.     Goalkeepers: Luka Chevalley (PSG), Mike Maignan ("Milan", Italy), Brice Samba ("Renn");     Defenders: Luca Din ("Aston Villa", England), Malo Gusto ("Chelsea", England), Lucas Hernandez (PSG), Theo Hernandez ("Al-Hilal", Saudi Arabia), Ibrahima Konate ("Liverpool", England), Jules Kounde ("Barcelona", Spain), William Saliba ("Arsenal", England), Dayot Upamecano ("Bayern, Germany);     Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga ("Real", Spain), Manu Kone ("Roma", Italy), Michael Olise ("Bayern", Germany), Adrien Rabiot ("Milan", Italy), Kephren Thuram ("Juventus", Italy);     Forwards: Manes Akliouche ("Monaco"), Bradley Barcola (PSG), Kingsley Coman ("Al-Nasr", Saudi Arabia), Hugo Ekitike ("Liverpool", England), Jean-Philippe Mateta ("Crystal Palace", England), Kylian Mbappe ("Real", Spain), Christopher Nkunku ("Milan", Italy).     It should be noted that the France-Azerbaijan match will be held on October 10 at 22:45 Baku time at the "Parc des Princes" stadium.
