Former Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been called up to the England squad for next month's matches against Andorra and Senegal.
This is the 29-year-old's first call-up since joining Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli from Brentford last summer.
He last played for England in one of their six games at the 2024 European Championship, in the final defeat against Spain.
But 28 goals in 42 games for Al-Ahli this season have convinced England boss Thomas Tuchel to take a closer look at Toney, who he left out of his first squad in March.
England face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on June 7, before hosting Senegal for a friendly at Nottingham Forest's City Ground on June 10.
Asked about Toney's selection, Tuchel said: "He deserves to be with us and I am convinced because he has scored more than 20 goals for his team this season. He has won a big title in the Asian Champions League, contributing greatly with goals and assists.
"Last time [in March] I said I would try to add a trip to [Saudi Arabia] to my schedule, but I couldn't do it, so I thought let's bring him [Toney] over and have him travel with us."
Tuchel has picked eight players from the four clubs participating in the Club World Cup - Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid - which begins five days after the friendly against Senegal.
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has also been selected, although the 21-year-old is set to undergo shoulder surgery.
He will have an operation after the Club World Cup to fix the problem which has been troubling him since 2023.
Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden is a notable absentee from the squad, while there are no representatives from Manchester United.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has received his first senior call-up.
