Hans-Dieter Flick, the head coach of the Spanish football club Barcelona, has won his fifth title with the Catalan club.
Idman.Biz reports that Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 2-0 in the 35th round of La Liga, becoming the champion of the 2025/26 season. After this result, Flick won his fifth trophy with Barcelona.
The German specialist began managing the Catalan club in May 2024. He won La Liga last season with Barcelona, as well as winning the Spanish Super Cup twice and the Spanish Cup once.
The victory coincided with a difficult day for Flick. On the morning of May 10, the head coach's father passed away. Therefore, the Barcelona-Real Madrid match began with a minute of silence, and the players of the Catalan club took to the field wearing black armbands.
After this victory, Barcelona reached 91 points and surpassed Real Madrid by 14 points. The Madrid club is in second place with 77 points.
