Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has revised the disciplinary rules within the team. The German specialist no longer removes players who are late from the starting lineup as punishment, but they face severe financial penalties.
İdman.Biz reports that according to the players' statements to the Spanish media, the amount of fines reaches tens of thousands of euros. According to Ferran Torres, the fine for being just 10 minutes late for training is 40,000 euros (80,000 AZN). Pedri stated that Flick does not forgive even a three-second delay and immediately applies a fine.
However, the coach is more lenient towards the players' leisure time and entertainment. Thus, Flick does not prevent players from shooting videos for "TikTok" in the locker room and making various jokes. The main condition for him is to show a completely professional approach to the work schedule and tasks on the field.
It is worth remembering that in the early days of his tenure, Flick was remembered for sending stars like Jules Kunde directly to the bench for being late for the meeting. Now, instead of removing players from the field, he prefers to "target their pockets."
