After the 35th round of the Spanish championship, the name of the first team to leave La Liga has been determined. The "peace" recorded between "Rayo Vallecano" and "Girona" (1-1) has formalized that "Oviedo" will leave the elite.
Currently, "Oviedo" is in 20th place with 29 points. This means that regardless of the results recorded in the upcoming rounds, the team will not be able to reach "Girona", which is in 17th place with 39 points.
It should be noted that "Oviedo" was playing its first season in La Liga since 2001.
