Previously, the press service of "Galatasaray" club, in a statement, claimed that the former president of "Fenerbahce," Ali Koc, threatened the team's head coach, Okan Buruk. The "yellow-reds" stated that Ali Koc used his influence to threaten the Turkish specialist, saying that they would not allow such cases and that they stood behind Okan Buruk.

The "yellow-navy blues" stated in their statement that artificial polemics were created around Ali Koc and announced that they strongly rejected such accusations. The club stated that it is not right to create tension with off-field statements in the Turkish sports community.
