Tensions have arisen between "Galatasaray" and "Fenerbahce." Earlier, the press service of "Galatasaray" club, in a statement, claimed that the former president of "Fenerbahce," Ali Koc, threatened the team's head coach, Okan Buruk. The "yellow-reds" stated that Ali Koc used his influence to threaten the Turkish specialist, that they would not allow such cases at all, and declared that they support Okan Buruk.
Sport24.az reports that after this post, the "Fenerbahce" club also made a statement to the public.
The "yellow-navy blues" stated in their statement that artificial polemics were created around Ali Koc, and stated that they strongly reject such accusations. The club stated that it is not right to create tension in the Turkish sports community with off-field statements.
"Fenerbahce" also emphasized in its statement that healthy thinking, responsibility and justice are the basic needs of Turkish sports, and stated that they are against polemics that bring the public face to face.
