"A difficult game awaits "Qarabag" away." These words were said to Sport24.az by former goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, Farhad Veliyev.
The 45-year-old veteran goalkeeper spoke about the upcoming "Liverpool" - "Qarabag" match in the UEFA Champions League:
"The victory in the game against "Eintracht" was not a surprise. Even before the game, I thought that our representative could beat the German club. We witnessed once again that "Qarabag" can defeat strong teams both away and at home."
The former goalkeeper of "Qarabag" said that "Liverpool" is one of the biggest clubs in the world:
"The opponent wants to win and strengthen their place in the top 8. No matter how difficult it is, let's hope that "Qarabag" will return from England with at least a point."
It should be noted that the "Liverpool" - "Qarabag" match will take place on January 28th.
