"A difficult game awaits "Karabakh" away." These words were said to Sport24.az by the former goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, Farhad Veliyev.
The 45-year-old veteran goalkeeper spoke about the upcoming "Liverpool" - "Karabakh" game in the UEFA Champions League:
"The victory in the game against "Eintracht" was not a surprise. Even before the game, I thought that our representative could beat the German club. We have witnessed once again that "Karabakh" can defeat strong teams both away and at home."
The former goalkeeper of "Karabakh" said that "Liverpool" is one of the biggest clubs in the world:
"The opponent wants to win and strengthen its place in the top 8. No matter how difficult it is, let's hope that "Karabakh" will return from England with at least a point."
Note that the "Liverpool" - "Karabakh" game will take place on January 28.
