"Qarabag has a difficult away game ahead."
These words were said by the former goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, Farhad Veliyev.
The 45-year-old veteran goalkeeper spoke about the upcoming UEFA Champions League match between Liverpool and Qarabag.
"The victory in the game against Eintracht was not a surprise. Even before the game, I thought that our representative could beat the German club. Once again, we witnessed that Qarabag can defeat strong teams both away and at home," he said in a statement to sport24.az.
The former Qarabag goalkeeper said that Liverpool is one of the giant clubs in the world:
"The opponent wants to win and strengthen its place in the top 8. No matter how difficult it is, let's hope that Qarabag will return from England with at least a point."
