Former "Leicester" and "Chelsea" coach Enzo Maresca is expected to become the new head coach of "Manchester City".
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the English club and the 46-year-old Italian specialist have reached a full verbal agreement on their future cooperation.
The new coach's contract is expected to be for three years.
"The Citizens" officials consider the Italian specialist an excellent candidate to replace Josep Guardiola, and the contract is expected to be finalized soon.
As is known, Maresca was a member of Guardiola's coaching staff at Manchester City from 2022 to 2023, then worked at Leicester and Chelsea and left the team in January.
