"Besiktas" has strengthened its defense with a new player. Sport24.az reports that the Istanbul representative has transferred Emmanuel Aqbadu from "Wolverhampton".
The club's press service reported this.
The "Black Eagles" paid 18 million euros to the other side for the member of the Ivory Coast national team. A 4.5-year contract was signed with the 28-year-old defender.
It should be noted that "Wolverhampton" transferred Emmanuel Aqbadu from "Reims" in January 2025. The 28-year-old central defender made 2 assists in 16 official matches he played for the Premier League representative this season.
