We are planning to hold 4 friendly matches during the training camp. But the opponents are not yet known."
Mammadov said that they want to strengthen the attack line: "We have enough players in the defense line. We want to strengthen the attack with several legionnaires. We want to fill the gaps and become more ambitious. The management has created conditions for negotiating with the players I want and can afford to buy. The goal is to form a good team. Rufat Abdullazade will leave the team. His departure has already been agreed upon. In general, we have parted ways with almost 80 percent of the players who played in the team last season. We kept the captain and a few more players. Most of them are members of the substitutes who train with the main team. Suleyman Allush, who has a contract with the club, has been put on transfer."
It should be noted that Sabail finished last season's Azerbaijan Premier League in 10th place. The team will compete in the First League in the 2025/2026 season.
