Qarabağ defender Elvin Jafarquliyev has entered the history of the UEFA Champions League. Sport24.az reports this with reference to Setanta Sports Football.

 

It is reported that the experienced defender has gone down in history as the first Azerbaijani footballer to score in the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League.

 

E. Jafarquliyev achieved this success by scoring in the 55th minute of the Qarabağ - Newcastle match. With this, he set an important record for Azerbaijani football.
