Elkhan Samadov, the president of the Professional Football League (PFL), who was involved in an accident on the road to Khankendi city, will undergo another surgery in Baku by the end of April.
PFL's Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev told report.az that E. Samadov's condition is normal and his treatment continues.
It should be reminded that the incident occurred on December 16, 2023, on the section of the Yevlakh-Aghdam-Lachin road passing through the Aghdam region. The "Mercedes Vito" car, driven by Baku resident Rasim Gafarli, lost control and crashed into a road sign while moving towards Khankendi city. As a result, PFL President Elkhan Samadov, Vice President Aslan Shahgeldiyev, Executive Director Zaur Haji-Maharramov, Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev, Technical and Sports Director Elgiz Abbasov and driver Rasim Gafarli received injuries of varying degrees.
After the incident, E. Samadov underwent surgery several times.
