Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Elkhan Abdullayev, the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 19, in his statement to the AFFA press service after the second friendly match (1:3) held with the local team within the training camp organized in Uzbekistan.
The expert stated that they made rotations in the squad and gave a chance to new players: "We also opened the score with an early goal. However, the fact that the Uzbekistan national team has more qualified players played a decisive role in the end. Even though we lost, we surpassed the opponent in the goal-scoring opportunities created. Overall, I was satisfied with the training camp. Of course, we have shortcomings, we will work on them."
It should be noted that a 0:0 draw was recorded in the first match between the teams held on October 9.
