After a 2-2 draw against Stuttgart in the last week of the Bundesliga season, which saw Eintracht Frankfurt finish the season below the European qualifying zone, the club has parted ways with Albert Riera, who was appointed in February.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the club announced that head coach Albert Riera, along with assistant coaches Pablo Remon Arteta and Lorenzo Dolcetti, have mutually agreed to terminate their contracts with immediate effect. The club management wished all three individuals success in their future careers and personal lives.
Albert Riera, 44, who was transferred with great expectations, spent only 4 months in his Frankfurt career. During this short period, the Spanish coach led the team in 14 official matches, averaging 1.21 points per game, meeting expectations.
