The Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match between Egypt and Ivory Coast has ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the game ended 3-2 in favor of Egypt.
Omar Marmoush, the Manchester City and Egypt striker, opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Defender Rami Rabia increased the "Pharaohs" lead in the 32nd minute. In the 40th minute, Egyptian defender Ahmed Aboul-Fetouh scored an own goal. In the second half, Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah scored in the 52nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Ivory Coast defender Gela Due reduced the deficit.
Egypt will face Senegal in the semi-finals. The game will be held on January 14.
