An unpleasant incident occurred during the Croatia-Turkey match within the qualifying round of the European Championship among U-21 football players. Sport24.az reports that the Turkish head coach, Egemen Korkmaz, lost consciousness on the sidelines and fell to the ground.
The incident occurred in the 35th minute of the match.
The referee stopped the game because of this. Although Korkmaz regained consciousness with initial intervention, he was taken to the hospital.
It is unknown whether the match will continue. The match was stopped in the first half when the score was 0:0.
