The draw for the football tournament at the III CIS Games, which will be held in Azerbaijan, has taken place. Sport24.az reports with reference to AFFA that, according to the results of the draw, the Azerbaijani national team, consisting of football players under 16 years old, will face the national teams of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in Group A.
In Group B, the U-16 teams of Belarus, Russia, and Uzbekistan will face each other.
In the tournament, which will be organized at the Gabala City Stadium, 6 teams will compete in two groups. The group winners will determine the champion in the final. The teams that take second place in the groups will face each other in the match for 3rd place, and the third-place teams will face each other in the match for 5th place.
