Draw Recorded in Azerbaijan - France Match

Today, our national team will play its last match in the qualifying round for DÇ-2026. Sport24.az reports that the team led by Aykhan Abbasov will face France in the 6th round.

The starting whistle of the match to be held at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium will be heard at 21:00.

Both teams will take the field with losses. Elvin Jafarguliyev and Toral Bayramov will not be in our team, while the guests arrived in Baku without their main stars Kilian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga and Manu Kone. 

The match between these teams in Paris ended with a 3:0 victory for the French.

It should be noted that France is the leader of Group D with 13 points and has already secured a place in the World Championship. Iceland and Ukraine share 2-3 places with 7 points. Our national team is the last in the group with 1 point, and it is known that regardless of the outcome of this match, it will finish the qualifying round in 4th place.
