In accordance with AFFA's strategy for the development of children's football, the next meeting within the framework of academy visits implemented in the "Needs Analysis and Support for the Development of Academies" process was held at the academy of "Araz-Nakhchivan".
Idman.Biz reports that during the visit, extensive discussions were held with the director of the academy, Sakit Rzayev, and the current areas of activity and future development prospects were reviewed in detail.
The meeting discussed the academy's existing infrastructure capabilities, the possibility of holding regular seasonal competitions in the Nakhchivan region, the operating model by age groups, the organization of the training process and methodological approaches, the academy's role in the development of regional football, as well as long-term development vision and structuring perspectives.
It was noted that there is interest and potential for football in Nakhchivan, and the systematic development of this potential is of great importance.
An agreement was reached between the parties on the phased improvement of the academy's activities, the taking of structural steps in the direction of management and programming, as well as the preparation of a future development plan.
The visit is part of the ongoing process of forming a unified and sustainable academy model in the regions.
