İdman.Biz reports that the experienced referee stopped his refereeing activity in the last game of the 2025/26 season. According to the official Bundesliga information, Aytekin has been managing German championship games since 2008.
The 47-year-old referee's last game was the match between Bayern and Cologne. This match was his 254th match in the German top league.
