Former "Roma" head coach Daniele De Rossi has been appointed as the coach of "Genoa".
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to the Genoa club's website.
De Rossi will replace Patrick Vieira in this position. According to media reports, the coach has signed a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season and has the right to extend the contract if "Genoa" remains in Serie A.
Frenchman Vieira has been the head coach of "Genoa" since November 2024. In the current Serie A season, "Genoa" has six points and is currently in 18th place.
De Rossi was the head coach of "Roma" in 2024 and also worked in the Italian national team.
