Sabah's footballer, Coy-Lens Mikels, has played his 100th match in the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports with reference to the Professional Football League that the German striker's jubilee coincided with the XXI round.
He came on as a substitute in the home match against Kapaz (1:0). The 32-year-old forward, who only played for one club in Azerbaijan - Sabah, has scored 47 goals in 100 matches. His average performance is 0.47.
Coy-Lens has the highest average performance among foreign players who have played at least 100 matches in the history of the championship. In general, Mikels is 7th in terms of average performance in the list of players who have played a minimum of 100 matches.
Mikels, who debuted in the Premier League in 2021, has only played for Sabah in our country. He returned in 2024 to the club he defended from 2021-23.
It should be noted that Coy-Lens became the 452nd football player in the history of the tournament to play 100 or more matches. He is the 210th player to achieve this in the same club.
