A football festival for children aged 10-13 was held at the Nakhchivan Central Stadium within the framework of UEFA Grassroots Football Week with the organization of AFFA, with the support of UEFA and "EA Sports".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Arif Khudiyev, Vice-President of the Nakhchivan Football Federation, Raqif Abbasov, Secretary General, Taleh Ibrahimov, Head of the Sports Department of the Nakhchivan Ministry of Youth and Sports, Gulxanim Orucova, Deputy Head of the Nakhchivan City Executive Authority, Safar Tagiyev, Representative of the Nakhchivan Ministry of Education, and Farrukh Ismayilov, Head of the AFFA Grassroots Football Department conveyed their best wishes to the participants and wished them success in their future lives.
More than 100 children played football and had fun at the festival. At the end of the event, officials of the Nakhchivan Football Federation and AFFA presented each child with balls sent by UEFA.
