"Chelsea" have announced the signing of left-back Yisa Alao from "Sheffield Wednesday".
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the club's official website that the 17-year-old footballer has signed a contract with the "Blues" until 2028.
Alao came through the "Sheffield Wednesday" academy and made his debut for the "Owls"' first team last August. Since then, he has made four more appearances, including a recent FA Cup game against "Brentford" and a Championship match against "Portsmouth" where he started.
The value of the contract is approximately £500,000 (€575,000). However, if all conditions are met, the contract could exceed £1 million (€1.15 million).
After 23 games, the London club is in fifth place in the league table with 37 points. The difference with the leader "Arsenal" is 13 points.
