The Football Association (FA) has announced its decision regarding the incident that occurred during the Premier League match of the XXIV round.
"Report" reports, citing the press service of the organization, that "Chelsea" and "West Ham" clubs have been fined for the improper conduct of players and the mass confrontation that arose at the end of the match.
According to the FA's decision, "Chelsea" was subjected to financial sanctions in the amount of 325 thousand pounds sterling, and "West Ham" - 300 thousand pounds sterling. It was reported that both clubs did not take sufficient measures to prevent inappropriate, provocative and aggressive behavior of their football players.
It should be noted that in the match held on January 31, "Chelsea" defeated "West Ham" 3:2 at their home ground. In the 7th minute of added time of the match, the guest team's midfielder Adama Traore pushed the home team's defender Mark Cucurella during the fight for the ball. After this episode, tension increased between the players and a mass fight broke out on the field.
During the incident, "West Ham" defender Jan-Clair Todibo was sent off with a straight red card for grabbing "Chelsea" striker Joao Pedro by the throat.
The FA has not ruled out the possibility of additional disciplinary measures related to the match.
