Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher criticized the team after their 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth in the 23rd round of the English Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that Carragher believes this team, which has the highest salary in the Premier League, does not meet the League's standards.
"We see a team in the Premier League that does not meet Premier League standards. When you see what Manchester United and Chelsea have achieved in the last few weeks, you realize that Liverpool could finish completely outside the Champions League zone. I'm really worried about them. They missed the Champions League as current champions, spent £450 million and have the highest salary in the Premier League. I think there are serious questions about the head coach," Carragher told Sky Sports.
After 23 games in the English Premier League, Liverpool has 36 points and is in sixth place in the standings.
