Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher has criticised the team after their 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth in the 23rd round of the English Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that Carragher believes that this team, which has the highest wage bill in the Premier League, does not meet the standards of the League.
"We are seeing a team in the Premier League that does not meet the standards of the Premier League. When you see what Manchester United and Chelsea have achieved in the last few weeks, you understand that Liverpool may finish completely outside the Champions League zone. I am really worried about them. They missed the Champions League as the current champions, spent 450 million pounds and have the highest wage bill in the Premier League. I think there are serious questions about the head coach," Carragher told Sky Sports.
After 23 games in the English Premier League, Liverpool have 36 points and are sixth in the table.
