"Barcelona" has verbally agreed on the terms of a new employment contract with midfielder Fermin Lopez.
Idman.Biz, citing famous journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano, reports that the player's new contract with the club will last until the summer of 2031.
According to the source, in August, the player refused to leave the Catalan club. As part of the new contract, his salary will double.
The publication "La Vanguardia" adds that the midfielder's holiday pay will also double.
"Blaugrana" will announce the new contract with Lopez on January 28, after the Champions League match against "Copenhagen".
Fermin Lopez is a graduate of "Barcelona". He joined the Catalan club from the "Betis" academy at the age of 13. According to media reports, the Spanish footballer's current contract is until the summer of 2029.
