"Barcelona" has sent an official complaint to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) regarding refereeing.
Idman.Biz reports that the club has expressed deep concern about the inconsistent criteria being applied.
The document highlights several key points:
1. Lack of consistency in disciplinary criteria;
2. Inconsistent criteria for assessing handballs;
3. Accumulation of errors: "Barcelona" points to repeated serious refereeing errors during the season, many of which are decisive and detrimental to the club;
4. Application and transparency of VAR;
5. Criteria for viewing incidents on the monitor: "Barcelona" questions the lack of clear and consistent criteria for inviting referees to the monitor, which leads to a sense of uncertainty and inequality in decision-making.
In addition, "Barcelona" demands the full publication of all VAR audio recordings, regardless of whether the incident was reviewed by the on-field referee, as an essential measure for transparency and referee training.
"Barcelona" demands a serious analysis of its demands and concrete measures to prevent similar situations from recurring in the future," the club said in a statement.
In the Spanish Cup match against Atletico, a goal scored by Barcelona player Pau Cubarsi was disallowed after VAR intervention.
