"Barcelona" may not play their Champions League home match against PSG at "Camp Nou."
According to Idman.biz, citing "Mundo Deportivo," the club has prepared a plan B due to delays in the stadium's renovation.
The Catalans hope to return to the stadium for the La Liga match against Real Sociedad on September 28, but the capacity will be only 27,000 spectators. For the game against PSG, the main 45,000-seat section of the stadium may remain closed, rendering the arena unsuitable for the match. UEFA and the French club have already been informed about the possible postponement.
The Espai Barca project, which is modernizing "Camp Nou," has faced further delays. The club has already lost tens of millions of euros in revenue due to not being able to play in its main arena and has been forced to hold matches at the "Johan Cruyff" stadium.
Barcelona's vice-president, Elena Fort, has admitted that the team's return to the legendary stadium remains uncertain.
