"Barcelona" has filed an official complaint with UEFA regarding the refereeing in both matches against "Atletico" in the Champions League quarter-finals. Sport24.az reports that the Catalan club stated in its statement that a number of refereeing decisions were not in accordance with the rules of the game, and that the VAR system did not intervene in important episodes.
According to the club, the mistakes made directly affected the course of the matches and the overall result, causing serious damage both in sports and financially.
"Barcelona" has asked UEFA to take into account previous requirements and to improve the refereeing system in a more fair and transparent way.
